DESIGN VALIDATION/QUALIFICATION TESTING is a means to ensure that industrial valves perform within their design range. The high demand for severe service valves and development of custom valve design requires an increase in design validation testing and certification.
Tracer gas leak detection is a highly effective technique for evaluating the integrity and performance of these valves. The standards, such as ISO 23632 / ISO 15484-1&2 / API 6A Annex PR2 and Shell MESC SPE 77/300, validate the design of the product by subjecting it to cycles at the designated conditions.
