ULTRA IS A CONCEPT, NOT A MACHINE

Valves are different, production processes are different and number of valve produced are different. So, the measuring principle will vary, but we rely on forminggas as the test media. There are many different measuring principles.

WHY FORMING GAS?
Forming gas has a traceable component which we can use in combination with hydrogen leak detectors. Since it is a gas, it will leak quicker compared to water, while the price of the gas is relatively low.

ABOUT THE VALVE
We believe that the sweetspot for ULTRA is for valves up to 6” (DN150). 

WHY IT WORKS
EN12266 allows valve manufacturers to shorten the test times of body and seat tests, providing they can present the evidence that the test results are representable for quality. ULTRA provides evidence through physics.
