PreVenTest Nexus
The PREVENTEST NEXUS is an Auxiliary Lift Assist Device (ALAD), developed to make in-situ testing of spring-operated Pressure Relief- Safety Valves (PRVs) simpler, smarter and more efficient. It allows testing of virtually any type and size of PRV under normal operating conditions – whether the medium is steam, gas or liquid.
Following ASME’s Performance Test Code (PTC) 25, this method provides a safe and reliable alternative to traditional bench testing. The big advantage: PRVs can be functionally tested without removal, as long as the procedure is done correctly and with the right equipment. ASME Section XIII supports this methode by defining the requirements for safe and compliant in-situ testing of PRVs.
PREVENTEST NEXUS transforms PRV re-certification: no shutdowns, cost savings, targeted maintenance, on-site testing – even for hard-to-reach valves – with full compliance support.
