TESTING PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES

Acting as a ‘last resort’, Pressure Relief Valves are installed on process equipment to release excess pressure due to faulty process operations, external fires and other hazards. Or simply said; the Pressure Relief Valve serves to protect ‘life and property’. Pressure Relief Valves should be given the right treatment and be correctly tested to ensure that they will fulfil this so important role when needed.

Boosting effciency and safety in industrial facilities by:
                       “INLINE TESTING OF PRESSURE RELIEF VALVES”

Meet the next generation of industrial diagnostic tools, embracing new techniques and advanced connectivity:
                                       VENTIL PREVENTEST LTC 3.0

We explore, you benefit:
* No plant shut-down
* No dismantling of the pressure relief valve
* No loss of productivity
* No loss of profitability

PREVENTEST

PREVENTEST LTC 3.0

ADVANTAGES
– Only valves that require an overhaul need to be removed from the plant.
– Welded in valves can be adjusted without costly removal from the line.
– No need for temperature corrections.
– No interruption to plant production during testing; No loss of productivity.., No loss of profitability..!
– Reduced time needed to commission plant after shutdown.

UNIQUE PARTS AND FEATURES;
The light-weight test rig can be easily adjusted
and clamped on all common, spring operated PRV
types and sizes.
It features a set of 3 load cells with hydraulic
cylinders to ensure perfect control and safeguard
the accuracy of the full working range of 0 – 2 kN.
Standard included are an accurate load sensor,
displacement sensor and acoustic sensors. Each
sensor has specific values within testing of the
different service conditions; gas, liquid or steam.
The test program features a database with an
extended amount of seat data of all common
Pressure Relief Valve types and sizes. The test
program also enables you to build your own
database with specific or exotic valve types.
The specially developed, 10 meter long Cable and
Hose assemble set, connecting the test bracket to
the control box, is light weight, rugged and high
temperature resistant.
The control box with hand control pump is light weight and fully battery driven. It is easy to carry around
and quickly (dis)connected on-site.
